What is Delta 8?
Delta 8 is a minor psychoactive cannabinoid found in the Hemp plant. It is an isomer of Delta 9, the compound known as THC. When THC is stored for a period of time, it degrades into Delta 8. Delta 8 has antiemetic, anxiolytic, orexigenic, analgesic, and neuroprotective properties.
Delta 8 has become increasingly popular due to the similarities of THC, which is a compound that gets you high, causing euphoria, happiness, relaxation, symptom relief, and more. However, the effects of Delta 8 will be much less potent. Please be mindful when trying Delta 8 for the first time, and use the same caution you would with THC products.
Delta-8 vs. CBD
Delta 8 has many similarities to what we refer to as THC or Delta 9, than it does with CBD. The chemical structure of Delta 8 is similar to Delta 9, and the same as it gets you high. However, Delta 8 tends to exhibit a lower psychotropic potency than Delta 9 (THC). Delta 8 binds to the body’s endocannabinoid system similar to Delta 9. CBD is non-intoxicating, non-psychoactive and can offer medicinal benefits for the consumer.
If you like the effects of THC, but with a reduced potency, Delta 8 may be a great choice for you. Delta 8 may cause very similar effects to Delta 9 (THC), but they will be much less potent. If you seek relief from certain symptoms and don’t want to feel "high," you may want to try one of our CBD vapes instead.
What are the benefits of Delta 8?
Delta 8 is reported to help with pain relief, relax your body, and improve your overall mental health. Additionally, Delta 8 has the ability to reduce nausea and stimulate appetite, and help with insomnia.
Will Delta 8 get me high?
Delta 8 will get you high, however, not as high as common Delta 9 THC. For those living in states where cannabis is illegal, Delta 8 may be a legal way to experience some THC-like effects from cannabis. Delta 8 may offer a smoother, milder high.
Is Delta 8 legal in your state?
Yes, this product is federally legal under the 2018 Farm Bill. It is derived from hemp containing less than 0.3% Delta 9 THC. It is your responsibility to know the laws in your state before purchasing. Delta 8 THC may be restricted in some states.
As of 2025, Delta 8 is restricted or banned in some states including Alaska, Colorado, Delaware, Idaho, Iowa, Minnesota, Montana, New York, Nevada, North Dakota, Oregon, Rhode Island, Vermont, and Utah. Always verify current state laws as regulations change frequently.
It is up to you to determine the legality in your specific state.
Will Delta 8 show up on a drug test?
Delta 8 THC metabolites may trigger many drug tests looking for Delta 9 THC metabolites. As a precaution, you should NOT take this product if you need to pass a drug test.
